Welcome!

Mike Reeb lives in Lafayette, Indiana with Amanda (human),
Lucinda (petite canine), and Ray (canine). He once lived in the
city of Chicago, but it didn’t work out. Although he likes Lake
Michigan, he loves the Wabash.

Many people ask Mike, “What’s it like living in a college town?” These
people aren’t aware that Purdue University is in West Lafayette. If you’ve been to
Mike’s house, you realize why this is a silly question. He lives about 3 miles from campus
and likes it that way.

When Mike records music, he heads into his basement and starts up his 85- pound Tascam 388 reel-to-reel recording unit. Is it functional? Sometimes. Is it practical? Not really. Is it dull? Never. Mike likes to record music without the use of a computer screen and will always prefer analog tape.

Mike was in a train accident in 2004. He survived.

Choosing your top ten albums of all time is difficult, but choosing seven that would make the top ten is a bit easier. Mike’s seven (in no particular order): Yankee Hotel Foxtrot by Wilco, Pet Sounds by The Beach Boys, In Utero by Nirvana, Control by Pedro the Lion, Surfer Rosa by The Pixies, The Royal
Albert Hall Concert by Bob Dylan. and Revolver by The Beatles.

If Mike had a few thousand dollars to throw around, he would buy his wife a Vespa (and a matching
sidecar for Lucinda/Ray). If Mike had 20 dollars to throw around, he would take his wife to a matinee.
